The role of a community leader: Somehow, in some way, Jacqueline developed thick skin to endure a decade or more of striving for her goals while encountering failures along the way. She’s learned to never retreat from challenges, transition her thinking, and measure success by how many failures you’ve experienced. Bringing about change depends on how well and how often you cultivate yourself; know yourself; know your strengths; and can more quickly ascertain where your value lies in the eyes of others.

We think of possibility as an opportunity to make something better. But our potential and ability to succeed is often limited by what we’ve already experienced. Jacqueline’s journey from an entrepreneur to politician and social advocate is a story about how to navigate through the unknown and see beyond the uncertainty of the situation(s) immediately in front of you. Jacqueline will share her story about how to embrace possibility, and how to connect those possibilities to tangible actions toward the potential of a better life for yourself and the communities you live, work, play, and invest in.
