James Cantu has described his life thus far as “a tapestry woven with an intertwining of adversity, transparency, failing forward, and continuing self discovery and refinement”. He is a combat veteran with 21 years service in the United States Army and Army National Guard combined. He is also a former law enforcement officer and crisis intervention team responder with specializations in dealing with those with various behavioral health challenges and risks. He also served as a Forensic Services Technician working with the incarcerated, mentally-ill. He continues to serve as a Counselor, Performance Coach, and Career Consultant to the general public as well as to the professional individual and groups alike. James is a graduate of Armstrong State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Police Sciences. A graduate of the Georgia Regional Police Academy at Savannah. Held state certifications as a sworn law enforcement officer, crisis management counselor and incident responder (law enforcement) certified instructor/trainer, and homeless counselor to america’s veterans.
