Authentic engagement with our students can spark transformative conversations and deeper comprehension. Introducing learners to individuals who share their authentic experiences can have a profound, sometimes global impact. We've all welcomed guest speakers into our classrooms, yet often their visits pass without leaving a lasting imprint on our students' learning journey. However, when Janet Lee encountered Arnie Stewart, she recognized the potential in his narrative to profoundly touch every student who listened. To harness this potential, she knew she had to intertwine his experiences with educational strategies to truly inspire change.
