About
I have spent 25 years in media — behind the microphone at BBC, NPR, and iHeart — and spent most of that time helping other people tell their stories. Then life gave me my own story to tell. After a life-changing accident in 2020 and the loss of my production company in the 2025 Palisades fires, I found myself doing the one thing I had spent years encouraging others to do: rebuilding from nothing, with nothing but clarity, conviction, and the practices I had spent decades studying. I speak to women — and to anyone who has ever let someone else's opinion become their inner monologue — about what it actually takes to walk through failure, grief, and self-doubt and come out knowing yourself more deeply than before. I bring together 25 years of storytelling craft, certifications in Ayurveda, Reiki, herbalism, MBCT, and advancing work in Jungian depth psychology, and the lived experience of someone who has genuinely had to practice what she teaches. I don't speak from theory. I speak from the scar tissue.
Become the Narrator
30 minutes (keynote) · 45 minutes with Q&A · 60–90 minutes (workshop with exercises) · Half-day masterclass available for retreat settings
Most women can identify the moment the voice started. A comment in grade school. A relationship that required them to be smaller. A professional culture with very specific — and very narrow — instructions for how a woman should speak, lead, want, and become. The problem is not that the voice exists. The problem is that most of us forgot it was never ours. Become the Narrator is a signature talk for women — a direct, warm, and deeply practical session on reclaiming the inner dialogue that shapes every decision, relationship, and opportunity. Drawing on her 25 years in media, and my training in Jungian depth psychology, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and my own experience of rebuilding identity from the ground up, I breaks down how the internal monologue gets built, why imposter syndrome is a collective experience masquerading as a personal failure, and what it actually takes to become the author of your own story rather than a character in someone else's. This is not a cheerleading session. It is a recalibration. Women leave with language for what they have been feeling, clarity on what they are ready to change, and the reminder that they have been holding the pen the whole time.

Anxiety Is Excitement In Disguise
Keynote, Workshop • 20–30 minutes (standard keynote/session) · 60-minute workshop with extended skill-building available on request
Public speaking consistently ranks as one of the top human fears. In many surveys it outranks death — which means most people would genuinely rather be in the casket than delivering the eulogy. Jasmine opens with this fact, and then immediately gets the audience on their feet. Anxiety Is Excitement In Disguise is a short, participatory, high-impact session built on a single neuroscientific truth: anxiety and excitement produce the exact same physiological response in the body. The same adrenaline. The same elevated heart rate. The same charged energy. The only difference is the story we attach to the sensation — and that story can be changed. Using body-based confidence exercises (including the posture research popularized in studies on presence and performance), crowd participation, and the science behind how the brain builds confidence through action rather than thought, Jasmine walks audiences through a rapid, practical reframe. By the end of 30 minutes, the room has physically practiced confidence, repeated affirmations with full voice, and left with a single tool they can use before any high-stakes moment — a presentation, a pitch, a difficult conversation, a stage. This is not a motivational talk. It is a calibration. Audiences leave different than they arrived.

I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD at age eight — then chose journalism as her career. What looks like contradiction is actually the throughline of this talk: the thing you believe disqualifies you is often pointing directly at your purpose. Drawing on my own story of growing up neurodivergent in a system not built for her mind, moving through broadcast media at BBC and NPR, and emerging as an integrative wellness mentor and media founder, I unpacks the mechanics of the inner monologue — where it comes from, how it gets reinforced, and what it takes to talk back to it. The talk weaves in neuroscience, unexpected statistics (including NASA's active recruitment of dyslexic thinkers), and names audiences will recognize who succeeded not despite their labels but because they refused to become them. This is not a talk about overcoming adversity. It is a talk about redefining what adversity means — and discovering that the story you were told about your limits was never the whole story.
