Jason is an educator and adviser who specialises in governance, strategy and risk with deep domain expertise in Technology and Cyber based on years leading these functions in financial institutions. He is currently the Governance and Risk Advisor to the CFC Group, a family group of companies right in the thick of a substantial growth cycle whilst ESG changes are revolutionising the organisation's business models.
As a member of the AICD Faculty, Jason has been delivering courses for AICD since 2010 in the Company Directors Course, Foundations of Directorship (FoD), Not-for-Profit, Directing Growth and In-House programs. Jason was the initial author of AICD’s first cyber course Cyber for Directors in 2016 and the re-write in 2022 for The Boards Role in Cyber, he was also a reviewer for the FoD Risk and Strategy unit. Jason has been an AICD Advisor since 2018 delivering a range of board performance reviews and he has just been appointed as an AICD Scholarships & Grants Assessor.
Jason’s board experience includes both executive and non-executive director roles, Chairman, Chair of Audit and Risk Committees. He holds the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise (CGEIT) certification from ISACA, and is a Fellow of AICD.
Having come from a technology background honed in the financial sector as a thought leader in the security, risk and cyber security areas, Jason has a deep understanding of how technology is shaping the decisions we make in the Boardrooms and our society as a whole.
