Jeanette is passionate about leadership, influence and building the capacity of individuals to engage effectively in decision making processes. She is an experienced speaker who has the capacity to connect with her audience through a mix of personal experience, knowledge sharing,, new perspectives and storytelling.
Jeanette has over twenty-five years’ experience working with people in rural and regional Australia in a number of roles that have included advocacy, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and public policy. In 2003 she was recognised for her work in the rural sector by being awarded the Australian Government’s Centenary Medal.
Jeanette established Innovative Influences in 2011, so she could focus her work around three key areas – Leadership and Influence Coaching, Stakeholder Engagement and Strategy Development.
Her initial qualifications in agriculture and business administration (MBA) have been complemented with further study and training in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, leadership and coaching. These have well suited Jeanette’s shift towards a more people-centred practice.
Jeanette is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
