In May 2017, Jen Hoye experienced the devastating loss of her brother, Teddy Fusco, Jr., to suicide. This heartbreaking event ignited a deep passion within her to address the urgent need for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Over the years, she has found both healing and a profound commitment to making a positive impact on others' lives. Jen's story resonates with diverse audiences and inspires with a message of resilience, community building, and hope in the face of adversity. 1. The Power of Connection: How Healing Miles has connected individuals worldwide and brought hope to many 2. Overcoming Adversity: Personal journey of healing and how she transformed pain into purpose 3. Building Bridges through Advocacy: Breaking down stigma, raising awareness, and fostering a more compassionate society through mental health advocacy 4. Empowering Hope: Practical strategies for individuals to promote mental health, support suicide prevention, and create connections

This conversational and engaging session highlights the importance of mental health as part of overall health, helps decrease the stigma around mental health, encourages employees to take an active role in their own mental wellness, and offers resources for future use as needed. It will include a group activity.
