Public Speaking and Effective Presentations
Multiple research studies have proven that public speaking causes significant fear in a large percentage of individuals. From sweaty palms, to feelings of faintness, to abject terror, public speaking can result in moderate to uncontrollable anxiety in even the most established of leaders. In this training, participants will approach the fundamentals of public speaking and explore different ways to prepare a public address. Whether you are positioned to give a presentation, a wedding toast, an informative speech, or other oratorical endeavor, the tips learned in this training will help participants reduce and control anxiety, and give a speech that will be remembered (for the right reasons).
Difficult Conversations
Sometimes we all have to be the messenger. Whether it is delivering bad news, setting unpopular policies, or informing someone of their terrible personal hygiene, navigating these conversations can be tough. Our communication during these tense situations can affect outcomes in any number of ways. In this training, attendees learn to manage anxiety, strategies for overcoming resistance, and ultimately how to engage and deliver in ways to mitigate the risk of the messenger getting shot
Organizational Culture
We have all heard about the best places to work in America: Google employees enjoy a hip, relaxed environment; Redbull frowns on old-fashioned elevators in favor of a slide to move between floors (down only); Hubspot’s innovation is to not track employee hours, but rather encourage “good judgment.” These three companies are at the creative forefront of how progressive organizations combine branding with their unique corporate culture. To lead their respective industries they live what they sell and sell what they live. In this training, participants will learn how to define their organization’s culture and brand, and identify opportunities to merge these two concepts to create a successful and compelling environment for management and employees.
