Bio

I am the author of the 3 Second Selling™ sales training platform that shows people how to quickly get on the path towards becoming someone people know, like and trust (that's who we do business with) and deliver that via speeches and seminars.

I also speak about how to create emotional connections with our content, structured storytelling, communicating with confidence, how to make your marketing more relevant and do media training and act as Master of Ceremonies at corporate events as well.

Here are some of my experience highlights:

I have traveled the world, raced cars in England, and lived and worked in Europe, Hawaii and Canada as a nightclub entertainer. I was a network TV news anchor and entertainment reporter, interviewed nearly every star in Hollywood, as well as did live shots from the red carpet of the Academy Awards. I was the motorsports PR pro for Terry Bradshaw's NASCAR team, and have been an award-winning business magazine editor, media trainer, professional speaker, corporate PR director, communications consultant and PR agency account manager. Some of the brands I have worked with include: GE, Nissan, Pfizer, Symantec, Audi, Mitsubishi, McDonalds, Rolex, Post, Nestlé, General Foods, and Valic.

How to create emotional connections with your content

Here’s the reality – and the conundrum – every marketer faces. It has never been easier to reach large numbers of people with our marketing messages, and it has never been more difficult to actually connect with them.

The average American adult is subject to between 6,000 and 10,000 marketing messages every single day.

And the latest Google research shows we have between 0.05 second and 3 seconds to create a connection with our content.

We have precious little time to pique someone’s curiosity, and put them on notice we have something worth paying attention to.

What does it take to make your marketing more relevant? To be different, engaging and memorable?

· Make sure it’s all about them, not you

· Address their pain, solve their problem(s)

· Build contrast

· Create action through urgency
