This motivational speech was given in Manila, Philippines, to show the similarities that women all over the world face, which is expectations to fulfill various roles. During the speech, words of encouragement were given to relieve the pressure of being all of these roles and to live up to one's own expectations.
Battling the Effects of Sexualization
This speech brought awareness about the different ways that women and girls are sexualized in the media and society. It expressed the harm that is caused by sexualization and how we as individuals, communities, and a society can combat these effects.
