With extremely diverse experiences, from corporate America to the nonprofit arena, Jim has a unique and astute perspective on life. He devoted 15 years to marketing Walt Disney World. Then, to achieve better work-life balance, moved to an opportunity with a family run construction business. Hurricane Katrina shaped his next decade and a half as he started his own consultancy, owned and managed a restaurant, managed a health club, founded a digital marketing firm and ultimately took over the leadership of a faith-based nonprofit working with volunteers to help rebuild homes for people impacted by natural disaster and other life events.
He got his MBA from Tulane University with a concentration in Strategic Management. With a strong background in marketing and strategy and 30 years of experience, his business acumen is unparalleled. Through his journey of faith including hurricanes, floods, fires and financial challenges, he has developed a keen understanding of hope, faith and blessings.
He has led numerous Bible studies for men and hosts three weekly mastermind groups from across the country (via video conference). As a lay leader, his comprehension of Biblical history and principles has grown through his trials.
With a strong Christian background and firm understanding of industry, he pieces together the frequently complex overlap of the business world with the spiritual realm. His down-to-earth style has a way of simplifying complicated topics and his passion and purpose keep his audiences captivated. He is a must-have for Christian leadership gatherings.
