Bio

Jodie Randisi is an author, speaker, and educational consultant known for her unique ability to cultivate hidden potential in marginalized communities. Throughout her career, Jodie has studied what it takes to connect with, motivate, and inspire positive human behavior. As an author coach and specialty publisher, Jodie helps writers become distinguished authors. As a speaker, Jodie's ability to blend humor with serious issues touches and enlightens audiences. In 2018 Jodie gave a TEDx talk entitled The Art and Science of Kindness based on her experiences as a prison volunteer. She was recognized as SC Toastmaster of the Year for helping to establish and mentoring members of prison Toastmaster clubs in SC. Jodie helps educators, author, and subject matter experts remodel their content from onsite events to highly engaging eLearning experiences. Jodie founded her company, COWCATCHER Publications, in 1992 to capture and promote fascinating true stories.

Toastmaster of the Year, South Carolina, 2017

Awarded South Carolina’s Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year for her work as the state’s Toastmaster prison club coordinator, Jodie was recognized for her passionate advocacy for educational programming at our state correctional institutions. Preparing inmates for re-entry into society is essential.

Somewhere Out There is Someone Calling My Name

Relationships change people, for the good and the bad. When trying to be a positive influence in someone's life, be sure your interactions are intuitive, personal, and most importantly, consistent. This is especially important when working with people who suffer from pain and loneliness. Too much pain and too much loneliness leads to hopelessness. Without hope, no one can live up to their full potential. So, when someone’s calling your name, show up. What’s the best that could happen?

Do the WRITE Thing - Preserving Legacies

Brand your busines, build your credibility, provide value to your audience, increase profits, broaden your reach, reuse content—all great reasons to write a book. However, the best reason is because it cannot be preserved, published, produced, or performed if it doesn't exist. Participants learn how to design an enjoyable and productive writing life.

Half or full day workshops are most productive, but Jodie inspires audiences with her expertise in a keynote as well.
