Discussed relationship between trauma and addictions both biological and psychological differences and similarities. Discussed transgenerational trauma and addictions in urbanized areas.
Participants will gain an understanding of the origins of trauma, including childhood trauma and transgenerational trauma. Participants will gain a better understanding of the biological processes of trauma and addiction, and the similarities in brain functioning. The participants will gain an understanding of biological processes of both, as well as an understanding of the relationship between the two and the effects of trauma and addiction on the family as a whole.
