Justin Gephart earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in Physical Education and Health Education in April of 2010. After graduation he was able to obtain his Personal Trainer Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and work as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer with Anytime Fitness in Monroe, Michigan. He moved on to attend graduate school at the University of Toledo earning his Master’s Degree in Public Health for Health Promotion and Education in May of 2014. Immediately after graduation he accepted a position as the Community Health Educator for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi in Fulton, Michigan. After providing various educational sessions and presentations along with leading multiple education programs, Justin moved on from the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi in November of 2015. He accepted a position with Henry Ford Health System as a Health Promotion and Performance Specialist performing employee wellness duties for two DTE Energy power plants. Justin became a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission of Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) in 2018. His expertise and passions lie in helping individuals and corporations reach reach a state of total wellness through activities, programs, and policies rooted in the Seven Dimensions of Wellness (physical, emotional, social, environmental, spiritual, occupational, intellectual).
