Kathy Cooperman is President and founder of KC Leadership Consulting, LLC, specializing in Leadership Development and executive coaching. Her passion is helping organizations accelerate excellence in their leaders-engaging everyone to work together to achieve the business strategy while applying the core principles of Positive Psychology. Kathy is a columnist for the St. Louis Small Business Monthly publication (Leader Acceleration).

Kathy brings 30 years of experience across the globe, in the field of Leadership Development. Her focus is on helping clients creatively find solutions to their engagement, development and leadership challenges.
She has trained and coached thousands of leaders in almost every industry. Her coaching includes developing, emerging, and strategic leaders, with a distinct focus on helping align individual, team, and organizational goals. She works with individuals to help them take ownership for their success. She helps leaders identify their greatest strengths and blind spots.
By focusing on the competencies required for the leadership role, team and organizational strategy, Kathy helps the individual create a customized development plan to drive the coaching engagement. Kathy is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, teaching graduate-level Presentation Skills.
Education and Training
She holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University. She completed the Advanced Program in Organization Development and Human Resource Management through Columbia University and the University of Michigan.
Kathy was awarded the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation in 2002- National Speakers Association's highest measure of professional platform skill. Kathy is a certified executive coach: CPC (Certified Professional Coach), ELI-MP, graduate of iPEC Coaching Institute.
