In a weary world, Kimberly reignites hope and confidence.

Kimberly was a CEO and highly regarded community leader by the age of 26 years. Two years later her employee committed major fraud, and then died by suicide. While struggling with PTSD, Kimberly rebuilt the organization into a powerhouse, only to be fired when she stood up to harassment. During the 7-year legal battle that followed, she led award-winning projects and supported many organizations at the same time that her husband became terminally ill. She also made a political run 30 years in the making, only to finish in second place. After working with medical teams across Canada to extend her husband’s life another 7 years, he passed away on November 6, 2021.

Kimberly recognizes the strain leaders face in this complicated world. Her message renews clarity and confidence, empowering change makers to lead and thrive in the face of difficulties.

For nearly three decades Kimberly Lyall has provided transformational leadership in community, social, and economic development, creating groundbreaking initiatives and positive change. Kimberly is a YWCA Woman of Distinction and Alberta Centennial Medal recipient. In 2023 as a non-Indigenous person, Kimberly received her Blackfoot name Kómmonoi Saamiaki, (Blue Paint Headdress woman).

Kimberly Lyall is an expert in leading change and creating impact. After surviving a childhood of dysfunction and poverty, Kimberly became a CEO at the age of 26 years, only to have an employee commit fraud and then die by suicide. She rebuilt the organization into a powerhouse, only to be fired when she stood up to harassment. During the 7-year legal battle that followed, she lead ground-breaking, award-winning initiatives while caregiving for her terminally ill husband. Kimberly inspires with insights about how discomfort forces change, and how seizing opportunities for disruption is the way we make the world better!
