I received my Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Adolescent Behavior from Kaplan University Online. I am currently in the final stages of completing my Master’s degree from Kaplan University in General Psychology. My goal is to continue to teaching in various areas and perhaps return to the clinical aspect of medicine as a clinician. For the last 15 years, I worked as a Medical Assistant for an Internist which brought me great joy. I was a certified OSHA officer for Health Texas Provider/ Scott & White. I am also a Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor. I have always been fascinated with Medicine, Psychology and human behavior. In my spare time, I travel abroad, sing, dance and work as an actress in gospel stage plays with Silenced No More Productions. I am affiliated with the National Council on Family Relations- NCFR, National Association of Christian Ministers as well as the Association of American Educators.
