Bio

Marilyn S. Onukwugha is an aspiring lawyer and certified arbitrator, mediator/conciliator and ADR registrar/secretary. She obtained First Class Honours in Law (LLB) from the University of Kent and various certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (Nigeria). Marilyn has numerous work and volunteer experiences in the US, UK and Nigeria related to Law, Development, Dispute Resolution and Fundraising. She is an academic and avid writer who has six published works. She has presented a paper at the Kent Critical Law Society Conference in the UK and moderated a webinar for the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. She will also present a paper on Tax and Development at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in October 2020.
