I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and had an abusive/traumatic childhood growing up in Hayward, CA. I never went to college, yet despite all of this, I have become successful in life and business, with a beautiful wife and 3 kids, and owning 4 separate companies operating in Phoenix, Arizona and Portland, Oregon.
I am very passionate about self employment and overcoming obstacles in business and life. The biggest lessons I've learned, like most people, are from failing, or not succeeding as much as I could have.
I barely graduated high school, and never went to college. I was a diesel mechanic until I got injured on the job, and then transitioned to mortgage lending by a twist of fate. After becoming a Vice President of a mortgage company, and during the real estate boom of the early 2000's, I sold the majority of my real estate holdings and transitioned into other businesses.
I now own a general contracting company, a fire extinguisher/ sprinkler servicing company, a commercial contracting company, a fully licensed Bed and Breakfast and am still a mortgage loan officer. I speak about self employment, recognizing opportunities, creating businesses and scaling correctly.
In the past, I have given many hour long speeches in front of hundreds of people, and 6 times I have given speeches to groups of 5000 or more people. I regularly give motivational talks in the Phoenix area.
I believe that you can do anything that you want to, and that the biggest challenge you will ever face is your own insecurities and fears. I am a very dynamic speaker, and you can see my passion for people and my own life.
