I love making things better. I love setting light bulbs off for people. I love weird counterintuitive truths that help in navigating the world. I love learning. I love connecting high-minded theory to grounded common sense. I love seeing people succeed. I love how much there is that I still don't know. I love having fun while getting things done.
Through most of my career, I have worked on trying to help people work more effectively, whether through building tools or tweaking processes. Over the decade, I have shifted his focus from directly creating products to helping coach others in doing so. I values a strong theoretical understanding of Agile, Lean, systems thinking, and other ideas, but believe it important to marry that with lessons learned through hands-on experience in getting things done. For me, that experience has spanned film and theater, software development, project management, political activism, and renovating my 150-year-old house. Although currently on hiatus to bring up my two young daughters, I am also a professional actor. Read my blog at growingtruffles.wordpress.com and follow me on Twitter @growingtruffles.
