Planning a event is more than requisitioning rooms, setting up table, and figuring out what type of food you will offer your guest. Events helps influencer create exposure, publicity, increase your following, and establish credibility, and move your organization to the next level. As entrepreneurs it is hard to keep up meetings, clients, building a brand and planning events. Through these 7 steps, we will assist you on how to plan properly and how to maximize your time wisely.

This workshop will help to advance the students at Thee Morgan State University by providing them with the tools necessary to successfully conduct an event. During this session, students will be trained on how to organize events from conception to finish, including, but not limited to: learning how to plan from at least a month prior to the event, the importance and reasoning for conducting the event, how to identify proper venues, and how to establish and maintain their target audience. At its conclusion, students will have the opportunity to participate in group work that will allow them to demonstrate their knowledge gained from the workshop.
