Uncovering the Confident CEO within
There is a certain price one pays for being a high achiever. For one, it can be lonely at the top. It is known that companies are constantly changing the business plan and the stress to know if you will be part of the change. A C-level executive did not get to their current high-level position by standing on the sideline and watching. Through determination, sacrifice, and old fashion grit these individuals made it to the top of their field. Executives are under a considerable amount of pressure to meet deadlines, increase revenue, satisfy the needs of specific department heads and more. These objectives can be overwhelming for an executive if s/he doesn’t have the tools to apply to these situations. Once there, what does one do to maintain the concentration of the job and its requirements and responsibilities? These are just a few scenarios that can create severe amounts of stress at a C-level position which can lead to certain coping mechanisms such as substance abuse.
How to communicate effectively within your Family Owned Business
Many times, family owned businesses will try to solve their communication problems and frustrations on their own. But without the proper skill or mindset, the solutions are typically short-lived. Resolving these issues for the long-term is our ultimate goal and your ultimate reward. When the key players of our family owned business are not on the same page, it can greatly hinder your company’s success. Gaining an understanding of everyone’s roles and how to effectively communicate can make your business more profitable and create a more harmonious work and family environment. Our goal is to keep the family in the family business.
Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Education
I have extensive experience on the topic of drug/alcohol dependence and abuse, my goal is to educate young adults and adults with the information that I have gained as a Deputy Probation Officer. Another goal I believe is important is for teens to gain the understanding of "delinquent" behavior by becoming aware of where the problem begins and what they can do to change their belief system that has been created.
Your perspective matters!
