Who is Moosa Baquie? Student? Entrepreneur? Leader? Passionate Full Stack Developer? SNEAKERHEAD? Yes, he is all that and many more! Moosa is currently is in his fourth year at Wilfrid Laurier University for Computer Science (Co-op) Bsc.
He plans to use what he learns from school and all his projects and roles to bring true innovation to the world, right now it is in the form of his startup company called IKue ( www.ikue.co ) looking to change how we line up forever. However, he is always looking for more experiences to quench his thirst for seeking innovation (currently seeking Angel Investors).
Moosa is constantly working on self-improvement and never takes a break, his past feats include leading a 20+ person team to create Wilfrid Laurier Universities first MLH official hackathon from scratch raising a budget of over $10,000 in a few months time. He was able to bring complete reform and give new life to Laurier's Computer Science Society (WLU PHI Soc) as president in 2016-2017 and create programs that are still running. He's been working part-time since 2014 at Laurier's IT Student Service Desk, being the first line of support for all of the campuses IT needs. He was able to be a Teaching Assistant for 4 different course sections at one time, whilst maintaining all his education and extracurricular commitments and still finding time to commit to his startup company travel to various hackathons all across Canada.
Moosa's work ethic and passion to bring innovation and change into this world is second to none and can survive and flourish within environments out of his comfort zone. Feel free to message me about anything as I love creating new connections with everyone around me!
