Bio

A Japanese native, New Yorker by heart, Natsuyo is a keynote speaker, former McKinsey consultant, TEDx speaker, author, a five-time Toastmasters International speech contest district finalist, and World Class Speaking ® certified public speaking coach.

Natsuyo has delivered numerous corporate trainings and keynotes in Japanese and English to audiences around the world.

Natsuyo is also a competitive ballroom Latin dancer. In her signature keynote “Breakthrough Communications” and “Ballroom to Boardroom and Beyond”, she uniquely combines her experience as a former McKinsey consultant and ballroom Latin dancer to teach global leaders how to communicate effectively beyond differences, so they can leverage the diversity, improve team dynamics, or to improve the power of influence.

Besides her global public speaking books in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, she also co-authored the Amazon bestseller book, “The Success Blueprint” in English with Brian Tracy.

Natsuyo is also a proud mother and breast cancer survivor.

Communication is like an iceberg. What you hear is only the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot of context hiding under the surface. Especially in a diverse team, your common sense may not be so common.
The cultural diversity within diverse business teams can be its weakest link or a tremendous asset that enhances productivity. What makes you successful in one "culture" doesn’t make you successful in another. To develop trusting relationship, improve team productivity, and lead change through disruption, you must uncover a hidden context within, so that you can breakthrough cultural, personal, functional, physical, generational, or social barriers. In this talk, audience will learn the 3 step process of effective communication to embrace diversity and accelerate culturally diverse team’s performance

Ballroom to Boardroom and Beyond

Diversity makes a team strong if managed well. When it is not, the team will fall apart. Ballroom dancing requires leveraging each other’s strength as a team to create dynamic performance. Same principles apply to business.
