The Executive Woman: Embracing Motherhood in the C-Suite

Every mother I know, including myself with four children, has taken on projects like organizing house moves, turning unknown or new ingredients into delicious and healthy meals, managing varying schedules, meeting deadlines, and managing other peoples’ emotions as well as their own emotions and personal life. Fulfilling your role as a mom at home and as an executive at work is very important, a mom will neither thrive in these roles if she is not her best self. It is often said and believed that one can’t give what they don’t have. It is impossible to pour from an empty cup; hence, this talk/session is geared toward empowering working moms to prioritize self-care and individuality above everything else, even their family and job. Focusing on improving one’s health and wellbeing helps the mom to be in a better state of mind to leverage the support available to her from friends, family, and the workplace in other to perform more effectively and productively personally and professionally.
