Orianne Collins is a successful entrepreneur, professional speaker, jewelry designer, philanthropist and mother of three boys, two with music legend Phil Collins. Born and raised in Nyon, Switzerland, she obtained her master’s degree in International Management and started her career as the marketing and communication manager for a capital venture company before opening her own events and communications company, O-Com SA, in 1994. Following her passion, she founded OC Jewellery in 2007, creating hand-crafted pieces made in Switzerland, U.S. and Italy influenced by her heritage and travels around the world, studying various cultures and craftsmanship techniques.
As a 3rd Dan black belt in mixed martial arts, she was participating in a martial arts exhibition in Paris against Jesse Glover, Bruce Lee’s first student in 2014, when she suffered a neck injury. After a seemingly straightforward operation, she woke up paralyzed from the neck down due to a medical error. She was told by her doctors she would never walk or design again, but not allowing this to be her fate, she fought to regain her ability day-by-day and step-by step. Only three years later, against all odds, she climbed one of the highest mountain ranges in Switzerland, the Breithorn, peaking at 13,661 feet. After her long path to recovery, Collins founded the Never Give Up Foundation in 2019 so others with spinal cord injuries could receive the care and support they need through their early days of life-changing treatments. She also co-founded the Little Dreams Foundation in 2000 with a mission to fulfill the dreams of young talented kids with limited financial means in the worlds of music, sports and art. Collins has received international recognition for her philanthropic work including the Global Gift Philanthropist Award at the VII Global Gift Gala in Paris in 2017. She’s also been recognized with several awards and accomplishments including being an honoree for The SFBW (South Florida Business & Wealth) Apogee Awards honoring C-Suite executives in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. She has been featured as a trailblazing female entrepreneur and philanthropist in Databird Business Journal, 201 Magazine, Billion Success and Enterprise League among several other media outlets. Collins wrote and published a book, “Les Arts Martiaux Aux Féminin,” where she shares how the discipline of martial arts can build a healthy, strong body and mind. After the obstacles that Collins overcome, she made it her purpose in life to encourage women through her professional speaking and writing to “Never Give Up,” no matter what happens in life. She wants to show women if they push themselves everyday, they can achieve whatever it is that they desire and they can do it looking and feeling beautiful. Today, OC Jewellery spans 16 collections ranging from luxury pieces to affordable staples. She has expanded into OC Home and OC Spa collections, with plans to launch OC Cosmetics
