About
If you want to know what works and what doesn't in HR practice, I can bring the evidence to you.
Increasing workforce diversity through structured behavioural interviewing
An introduction to the concept of fully structured behavioural interviews, why they are critical for increasing employee diversity, and how to develop them. At the end of the workshop participants will: 1) understand implicit bias and its role in hiring decisions, 2) identify aspects of the hiring process that negatively impact success for diverse applicants, 3) identify the components of a fully structured behavioural interview and how these reduce the impact of implicit bias, and 4) be able to develop and implement a fully structured behavioural interview in their own hiring processes.
Bringing evidence-based HR management to organizations
The use of data to support decision making is ubiquitous in organizations. This workshop will provide an overview of the critical metrics to assess the business impact of HR and how to deploy them effectively. At the end of the workshop, participants will: 1) understand the range of possible HR metrics and their importance for organizational decision making, 2) how to select and implement these metrics to support HR decision making and credibility, and 3) how to use these metrics for HR program evaluation and improvement.
