The software industry is as competitive as they come, yet Peter was able to lead his company (www.Marketing.Pro) from a three-person startup to a multi-million dollar exit -- all without partners or investors. He’s been deep in the trenches, guiding sales, marketing, service, and development teams to achieve seemingly unreachable goals by working together cohesively. He used his vision to ignite and inspire his team, and together they overcame the challenges of production delays and client demands, all the while meeting budgets, growth goals, and maintaining a harmonious work environment. Peter teaches the skills and strategies he’s perfected to leaders and companies around the world so they, too, can transform their organizations.

Though in his early years Peter struggled with undiagnosed ADHD, he was admitted to and graduated from the University of California Irvine with a degree in Political Science. Post-college he became a traveling speaker and salesman, chalking up over 3000 presentations and living in over 22 major cities. He went on to found a successful advertising agency, and a software platform dedicated to financial service professionals. He quickly became the industry guru on Personal Branding and Marketing, and penned best-selling books The Brand Called You and The Personal Branding Phenomenon. He eventually bootstrapped his successful software company from a mere idea in 2008 to a multi-million-dollar exit in 2018 – without capital, partners, or investors.

Peter’s business acumen, inspirational journey, human behavioral insight, and decades of real-life experience have helped him to become one of the most sought-after speakers and coaches in the United States. Common Ground: Overcoming Political Conflict in the Workplace

A recent study from Northwestern found that, for the first time on record, Americans’ contempt for the “other” party is now greater than their fondness for their own. For some, politics have become so intertwined with their identities that party affiliations have metamorphosed into fiercely protected “tribes.” What happens when that division seeps into the workplace? How do we keep politics from impacting productivity and eroding company culture? Drawing upon his years of leadership expertise and training, Peter offers real tools and actionable strategies to help heal political rifts in the workplace, alleviate antagonism, and build unified, cohesive teams.

America’s Second Civil War? It’s here. How do we stop it?

For the first time in over 150 years, Americans fear other Americans more than anyone else. We despise one another more than at any time since the American Civil War, and our next war isn’t just on the horizon, it’s here. The weapons being wielded range from shaming and shunning to mocking, ridiculing, doxing, unfriending, empathy denial, intimidation, death threats, and more. We’ve come to believe that there is no common ground to be found, but the less entertaining—and less marketable—truth is: there really is more that unites us than divides us. Peter offers insight into the ancient instincts that cause us to form and so fiercely protect our perceived “teams,” as well as non-partisan advice and pragmatic steps anyone can take to dial-back behaviors that contribute to our nation’s dangerous polarization, and work toward healing the national divide.

Rage Against the Outrage Machine: Rethinking Our Relationship with Media and Technology

Information has become cheap and abundant, and we’ve seen a sharp increase in misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy theories. Unfettered 24/7/365 access to news and social media has increased our consumption, and the more we consume, the worse we feel—about ourselves, our future, our fellow citizens, our country, and the world. Peter explains how highly accessible technology has placed individuals—everyday Americans—on both the front lines and within the command bunkers in the early stages of a second civil war, why our increased anger about political issues makes us vulnerable to fearmongering, and how changing our relationship with media and technology can have a positive impact, not only on our own lives but on those around us as well.

  • Peter's performance insights are second to none. I’ve worked with countless authors and consultants that just regurgitated the same information I’d already heard time and time again. It's refreshing to hear something new, and I can't wait to put these ideas into action. Peter does what he says he will do and connects almost effortlessly with the groups he speaks with.

He is engaging and dynamic while offering both wisdom and humor, which is a very special and unique combination. He is passionate, creative and an incredible speaker and educator. I wish I'd had the opportunity to meet him earlier in my career.

  • As a leader of a CEO peer group and a marketing and management consultant, I have found Peter to be one of the sharpest business minds I've encountered. If you are the leader of a business or organization, I highly recommend following Peter, reading his writings, seeing him speak and engaging with him for coaching and team presentations. His career has been an amazing journey as an entrepreneur and business builder which he translates into insight that is extremely practical and highly actionable. Also, he's an entertaining speaker, which makes learning from him fun as well. Feel free to reach out to me for additional feedback.

  • Peter is a tremendous business leader who's always looking for methods to improve his business or improve himself. In addition, he's a tremendous speaker with the ability to inspire and educate, and he has the track record to show it. His passion, honesty and integrity are a breath of fresh air.
    Dan Lier
  • Finally, a thought-leader who doesn’t just drone on and on with nothing of value to say. I am not easily impressed, but I’d work with Peter again, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything the first time around. This was a genuinely valuable use of my time.
