Reverend Peter Rahme is an itinerant evangelist who received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior on May 27, 1980. He had reached a crossroad in his life—he was a drug addict, a potential alcoholic, and hadn’t held a job for some time. His lifestyle almost cost him his marriage, his family… and his life.
He had been in three near-fatal car accidents, bullets missed him several times, he was stabbed twice—one time the blade missing his heart by half an inch, but his life was spared. When he cried out to God he was saved, instantly set free and delivered, and has never been the same since.
Peter now preaches and teaches from almost forty years of experience in revivals, large open-air crusades, and has dedicated his life to being a daily witness for the Lord Jesus Christ wherever he goes. He has travelled extensively sharing the Gospel of Christ throughout Southern Africa, Europe, and the extensively through the USA.
Since Peter began ministering, he has been privileged to see multitudes come to Christ in worldwide revivals, crusades and outreaches—over 100,000 salvations have been documented through citywide crusades and street ministry in South Africa alone.
Credentials
Reverend Peter is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Centre, South Africa—class of 1982. He and his wife, Dyllis, were on the pastoral staff of Rhema Bible Church, where Peter served as head of the Outreach Team for fourteen years, and as Rhema’s full-time evangelist for five years. Peter now teaches the effective evangelism techniques gained during that ministry period where he frequently saw thousands of people receive Jesus as Lord.
USA
In January 1994, obeying the Lord’s direction to take revival and his ministry gifts to America, Peter, Dyllis, and their youngest son Brad, relocated Peter Rahme Ministries from South Africa to the United States. PRM is now based out of Louisville, Kentucky, and is focused on taking the life-changing gospel of Christ across the United States, and to the rest of the world.
Peter is anointed of God and has a tremendous boldness operating in his life. The Lord spoke to him and said “I want you to teach my people how to be strong and courageous and not dismayed, for I am with them always.”
In addition to delivering this message to the Church, the focus of the ministry is on two major areas:
1. To continuously win people into the Kingdom of God
2.To bring ¬revival, the fire of God, and to stir up and energize the body of Christ for the work of the end-time harvest.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16
