Pow Srikachorn

Pow J. Srikachorn is a near-10 year USAF Veteran of 10 Combat Deployments working Special Operations missions, lifelong Martial Artist, Business Owner, Husband and Father. He's been responsible for Special Operations Missions of global significance ranging from success Hostage Rescues to High-Valued Individual targeting of the world's Most Wanted Terrorists. However, Pow did not always have service or sacrifice at the forefront of his mind.

As a child, Pow was one of less than a handful of minorities growing up in Prince George's County, Maryland. He was a victim of bullying, often finding himself in fights on a daily basis. His ability to cope with these problems were not healthy, and led to a near-life threatening option that could have ended tragically if not for dumb luck.

Throughout his teenage years, despite being a local Basketball prospect receiving letters from Division 2 and Junior Colleges, his life took a turn down the wrong path and he was headed toward a life of crime - only worrying about the next dollar he could make.

The tragic events of September 11, 2001 were a major wake-up call for Pow, and he began to turn away from a near-certain jail sentence to mapping out his future and what life meant to him. In 2003, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and began his military service.

In 2006, Pow was recruited by the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) to try out in Assessment & Selection for a highly specialized Special Operations unit. After successfully completing his selection process, his service at JSOC would lead him to participate as part of a Team conducting highly secretive missions across the world.

Following his separation of military service in 2012, he thought life was finally normalizing until an economic recession caused him and his newly formed family to take a major financial blow. Drowning in debt, Pow had to keep a level-head and force himself to figure out solutions.

Now an emerging entrepreneur and business owner of a Mixed Martial Arts school in Silver Spring, MD, Pow is back to service but at the local level - teaching Self-Defense and the effects of Bullying to both victim and aggressor.
