Rene Urbanovich is a voice and creativity Instructor who holds degrees in Creativity Studies, Adult learning and the Humanities. Rene works with hundreds of students per year teaching singing and creativity to Broadway and industry veterans as well as developing vocalists in LA. Born from her experience with creative artists--professional and amateur alike, she's written the book, "The Creativity Connection/ Conundrum" in which she encourage artists and non-artists to discover their connection to true Creativity and expand the definition of this perpetual phenomenon. At a time when we are on the cusp of huge a societal and environmental crisis, this vital message of creativity, in service to society rather than just the individual, is a timely and important one. Rene has delivered seminars for SAG Aftra, Art Center, Crafton Hills, College of the Canyons, Civics Art Associations, Parks and Recs, Community Theater, churches and Children's groups.
Rene has written several books as well as volumes of poetry and has raised four children with her partner Jimmy, also a college professor.
