Imagine running your own business, being in your mid-40’s, AND then becoming an instant Mom of TWO toddlers! Talk about stress overload!

Rita has a very unique skill set comprised of 20 years in the high-stress, high-acuity healthcare field as a Respiratory Therapist, including several years as part of the MedCenter Air trauma flight team, and 16 years as a private practice licensed massage therapist, BUT nothing could prepare her for the amount of stress she was facing.

The survival of her mental and physical health along with her family’s, depended on her finding a solution that worked. Being the high achiever she is, instead of looking for one, Rita created her own unique stress management system and in 2018 wrote a book about it. In 2020, her stress management system gained national recognition with a federal copyright of 42 pages of her material.

Her intimate understanding of stress based on her professional and personal experiences plus her education of how stress mentally and physically affects the body makes her THE stress management expert that professionals need today.

Rita has helped hundreds of women and men stress less in the workplace and increase productivity in this stressed-to-the-max world we know. Her purpose is to serve thousands more – including you and your company.

Rita resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and daughters.

Rita’s passion & purpose is to show busy women and men how to go from feeling CRAPPY to HAPPY with simple self-care.

Rita’s unique professional skillset is comprised of almost 4 decades of both western and eastern healthcare. Add in the many stress overload life challenges she has had to deal with, and she has easily earned the title of Simple Self-Care Expert and Stress-Buster Extraordinaire.

Along with her book, "Simple Self-Care Saved Me!", released in 2018 with an international following, Rita has a US federal copyright on her simple self-care content, and has written a white paper on how using simple self-care can decrease the negative effects of stress overload.

Let’s face it... the stress overload struggle is real now more than ever AND we need help NOW!
FACT: The solution to reducing stress on a regular and consistent basis is quite SIMPLE... really!
What you may be thinking is “normal” behavior, may actually be your brain and body throwing you RED flags, trying to tell you your stress level has been too high for too long.
The best solution to reducing stress levels is to learn how to identify WHEN you are stressing and immediately take action to better deal with stress right then and there.
Learn simple tips, tricks, & tools to slide into your busy day at regular intervals AND when you need it the most... when you are stressing!

Taming Your Tigers

The term stress overload has become so overused and redundant, but what does it really mean to be stress overloaded and why does it affect our work environments and our health so negatively?
Understanding how our stress response works is only part of the equation. We also must understand what activates and triggers our stress response before we can effectively work on reducing our stress levels and reducing the negative impact of chronic stress on our health.
FACT: Different stressful situations affect people in different ways.
I use the term “tigers” instead of “triggers”. Our stress response is hardwired in our brains and has been with us since the beginning of time. Thinking about our ancient ancestors, I imagine a tiger (or other wild animal) literally being the trigger for their stress response. In our modern world without the tigers roaming our streets we still need to tame the “tigers” in our busy lives or suffer the dire consequences.
