Starting as an advocate for Students' Rights in Students' Association of Constanta, a local stakeholder with national impact, I have gained the taste of what it means to be actively involved in society. Thus, I chose to study European Law in Maastricht (NL). Then, I delved into my specialization, namely Law and Technology in Europe at Utrecht University (NL).
Besides my interest for law and innovative business ideas, I am involved in creating ethical standards for the adequate decentralization of the emerging blockchain industry because I consider crypto-assets as the close financial future.
Currently, I provide legal advice on Risk & Regulatory Compliance to FinTech and crypto startups. My area of expertise is European financial regulations and DLT laws, especially crypto-assets regulatory frameworks.
Regarding my expertise, I am specialized in the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, KYC, AML5/6 Directives, Payment Services Directive 2, E-Money Institutions 2 Regulation, MiFID 2, FATF Recommendations 15 & 16, and Market Abuse Regulation. In my capacity of compliance officer at Euronext, the largest stock exchange of Europe and fourth of the world, I have already acquired strong insights and hands-on experience at top level.
Lastly, I am a blockchain lawyer and investor who decided to help other people building and growing their wealth in a secure way. This is the reason for the launch of my Amsterdam-based law firm focused on crypto-assets regulations at EU level.
