I help those stuck in grief move towards healing, wholeness, and rebuilding their lives
3 Keys to Navigating Grief
Many of us have probably heard the old saying that "Time heals all wounds." Time definitely helps, but it doesn't heal. I've met many individuals who've lost a loved one years ago, yet their pain is still as fresh as though it happened yesterday. How come? Grief is a process and if it's not processed properly or healthily, it can often leave us stuck in it 1. Avoid isolation. (The lies the enemy will feed you- you're alone, nobody cares, God is far away) Seek support from friends and leaders you trust and try to join a life or support group, they're vital. 2. Remember that Grief comes in waves. Some days will be good and other days won't be. Don't allow the bad days to convince you that you're not healing, it's a process! 3. Grief is not your identity. Don't allow the pain you're facing to strip you of who you are. Remind yourself that your identity is found in Christ and not in your circumstances. You're a victor, not a victim.
Your perspective matters!
