Bio

Shanti Hershenson’s first two novellas were published when she was in the sixth grade, although her writing journey started long before then. Ever since she could hold a pencil, marker, or crayon, she was creating stories. They started from pictures, mere scribbles, and eventually, turned into captivating tales.

She is currently a sophomore in high school and enjoys inspiring and teaching youth about all things writing and publishing, proving every day that you are never too old or too young to follow your dreams.

Meant to inspire younger audiences and influence a love for writing, Shanti will briefly discuss her career as a writer, answer questions, and lead writing-themed activities catered to the applicable grade levels.

Middle and high school presentation (ages 12 to 18)

Catered toward different age groups and experience levels, Shanti will discuss her career, including details about her writing and publishing process, teach exciting writing skills, provide feedback on projects, and much more.

Writing workshop (all ages)

Following a short conversation about her career, Shanti will teach the most important writing skills to develop, including prolificness in the writing process and creating strong habits, character and plot development, worldbuilding, and more.
