Shirkydra Roberts is an energetic, passionate, transparent, and impactful speaker and life coach! She has used her story of overcoming child sexual abuse to not only inspire others to be the best version of themselves as they dominate their passion in life, but she builds teams that make mental health a pillar of their success! As a military leader, she breaks down the strategies behind successful team building. She explains what it means to see out of the eyes of others with the intent of leaving no voice unheard. She has studied and observed the impact that mental health has on business production, team cohesion, self-worth, and goal completion and desires to share those strategies with her audience.
Shirkydra Roberts is the founder and CEO of Impact, Aspire, Motivate Enterprises (I.A.M.E.). She was born February 10, 1990; raised in a single-family home with her mother and two siblings in Dallas, TX. She has a B.A. in Psychology and currently working towards a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an Active-Duty Engineering Officer with 14 years of service in the United States Navy. When not in uniform, she is an Evangelist, Motivational Speaker, Life Transformation Coach, Podcaster, #METOO Advocate, and Published Author.
As a 3x author, she began writing as a means of healing which started her road to becoming a profound writers coach. To date, she has coached national and international authors across the globe on how to turn their story into a legacy. In 2015, she published her first book of poems called “What’s a Word Worth”. She started I.A.M.E. in 2018 which has become her platform as a Speaker and Coach. In 2019, she published her second book called “Just Unwrap It” which focuses on the gifts that we all have within us that we overlook due to pain, struggles, challenges, and lack of self-confidence. In 2021, she started her own podcast titled Beyond The Vision. She is working on the release of her newest book “Dear Brain You Have My Attention: Going Beyond a Healed Heart” scheduled to release in April of 2023.
She has been featured on multiple podcasts, recovery blogs, webinars, multiple radio shows, Hollywood and Voyage Dallas Magazines. Shirkydra has spoken at numerous Women Conferences, High Schools, Middle Schools, Youth Development Seminars, Naval Ceremonies, and Leadership Development Events. She is very involved in her community in organizations such as Story Tent for Children, Home Start for the homeless, youth sports and women’s shelters.
She is currently residing in the state of Virginia.
