Architect, Explorer, Curator, Connector:
As an architect I love the unique challenges every project offers. One day I'm an anthropologist studying behaviors, the next a process designer optimizing a space to its unique requirements. Questioning assumptions and learning our client's language of meaning, and using a good dose of psychology to navigate the process. I've discovered that they can be very useful beyond any particular project, including every aspect of my business, and family life.
I was born in Germany to Polish parents, and spent the first 24 years of my life soaking up European life with a huge family in both countries, traveling, studying, and working. I'm the one out of four kids that inherited the migration gene, so I've been living in the US, Arizona and Montana, for the last fifteen years. In addition to learning new perspectives from my clients, I've gathered a few of my own insights into different cultures, habits, and lifestyles.
I've served on European, local, state and national committees, boards, and advisory groups within and outside of my profession, and it seems that these architectural skills that combine facilitation, ideation, problem solving, pruning, and visualization can help organizations thrive.
In my personal life my focus is to become a better wife. I occasionally teach Yoga, and serve as a volunteer ski patroller during our beautiful Montana winters.
I'm looking forward to meet you!
