Topics include how to introduce meditation to higher education students, how to handle resistance and concerns, and how to facilitate specific meditation techniques. Based on the book, Meditation in the College Classroom: A Pedagogical Tool to Help Student De-Stress, Focus, and Connect.
This presentation helps university faculty establish a sustainable personal meditation practice. They will learn the empirical benefits of meditation along with the logistics (when, where, why, how) to engage in regular meditation to reduce stress and experience other benefits.
