Hi! My name is Sukhita Karthi and I am passionate about tackling the most complex and ambiguous problems of our world using human-centered design to create innovative solutions.
Most importantly, I love empowering others to embrace the design mindset and tackle problems that they see by sharing my knowledge and experience. I have conducted a variety of design thinking workshops, spoken on podcasts and interviews to share how human-centered design can be a powerful tool when it comes to innovation.
A key tenet of human-centered design is empathy - a skill that is not just limited to the professional realm, but one that applies to all facets of life. I enjoy helping people unlock that aspect and hear about how their perspectives and mindsets have shifted as they incorporate empathy in their personal and professional life.
As an interdisciplinary designer, I have worked at a variety of companies working in healthcare, education, and social impact fields. Currently, I am building my own company that is looking to transform the future of work.
I have earned a Master’s in Design from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. I also have a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
I have lived and grown up both in India and in the US. I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, running, and playing tennis.
