Poor Governance, Leadership Failure, Corruption and Poverty In Sub-Saharan Africa

Despite its enormous natural resources and more than $1 trillion in foreign Aid in the past six decades, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) remains the poorest region in the world.
This is a conundrum which must be addressed by new thinking and major paradigm shift.
Although Foreign Aid must be radically restructured, the USA and the West cannot afford to ignore Africa.
The poverty and instability in the nations of SSA pose potentially monumental threats to global security. According to UNICEF, by 2050, Africa will be home to 35% of all adolescents in the world. Millions of poorly educated, disenfranchised young population would be a perfect recruiting ground for those who perpetrate evil in our world.
The poverty in SSA presents a potentially major health threat to the world. The Ebola epidemic of 2014 began in West Africa and rapidly spread across the globe. Sooner or later, another epidemic will probably emerge in SSA that could be far more devastating than the 2014 Ebola epidemic.
