Theresa Timmons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in NYC. She graduated with honors from Fordham University in NYC and has been in the field for over a decade working in various settings providing therapeutic services to the vulnerable and underserved. She loves to teach and share knowledge with others. She has experience training and creating workshops for staff, colleagues and departments for many years.
She approaches her clients as well as her speaking engagements from a space of authenticity. She is light, warm yet informative. She seeks to connect with people in a way they can feel open, seen and heard.
One of her greatest passions is guiding people of color (BIPOC) on their healing journey. She understands how being BIPOC is complex yet so beautiful. She works to provide a safe, culturally affirming and nurturing space to explore, unpack and reframe the issues that affect BIPOC people in their work, relationships and within themselves.
