As a German native but long time Brussels resident and full-time Public affairs professional I currently advice a wide range of clients from the IT, chemicals, financial services and manufacturing sector on EU policies at the company's Brussels office. In addition to my work for IDA, I also act as LANXESS' EU Public Policy Manager in Brussels.
During my time in Brussels, Berlin and Washington D.C. I have built an extensive network of contacts with representatives of the EU institutions, industry representatives as well as with NGOs and the media. Having worked for a Senior Member of the U.S. House of Representative, as well as in the Senior Member of the German Bundestag and at the German Permanent Representation to the EU, I have gained an in-depth knowledge of the political processes in Europe, Germany and the United States.
Next to my consulting work, I volunteer for the Brussels branch of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, acting as the organisations Development Officer.
A political scientist by training, I hold a Master in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London and am fluent in German, English and speak conversational French and Dutch.
