About
Most leadership development sits in one of two camps. You either get the hard-charging, metrics-driven approach that treats people as resources to be optimized, or you get the soft, feel-good content that leaves leaders inspired for a day and unchanged by the next week. I don't do either of those things. After more than two decades leading people strategy inside organizations like Amazon, Zappos, and UofL Health, I know what it takes to build teams that actually perform at a high level. I also know what it costs when leaders get that wrong. I have seen burnout, attrition, and broken cultures up close, and I have navigated them from the inside, not from a consulting deck. What makes my work different is that I bring the whole picture. I believe sustainable performance and human wellbeing are not competing priorities. They are the same priority, approached from different angles. That belief is not theoretical. It comes from my own life, including my work co-founding Salt Wellness and my years studying holistic approaches to human performance. I have lived the tension between achievement and sustainability, and I have figured out how to hold both. When I work with leaders and organizations, I bring that full perspective into the room. My sessions are experiential, honest, and grounded in what actually works. Audiences leave with more than a framework. They leave with a shift in how they see their role, their team, and themselves. If you are looking for a speaker who will challenge your leaders thoughtfully, meet them where they are, and leave your organization with something lasting, I would love to be in the room.
Leading from Within: The New Standard for Leadership
The most effective leaders are not the loudest voices in the room or the ones with the most authority. They are the ones who know themselves well enough to lead others with clarity, intention, and trust. This interactive session helps leaders move from reactive to intentional, building the self-awareness and adaptability that high-performing teams actually need from the people leading them. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of how their inner landscape shapes the culture around them, and what to do about it. What participants walk away with - A practical framework for building self-awareness as a leadership discipline - Strategies for leading with clarity and steadiness during uncertainty and change - Concrete tools for deepening communication and trust across their teams
The Human Side of High Performance
High performance is not just a function of strategy, systems, or talent. It is a function of how safe people feel, how trusted they feel, and how connected they feel to the work and to each other. This session bridges leadership science and human-centered practice, giving leaders the tools to build environments where accountability and compassion are not opposites. Organizations that get this right do not just perform well. They sustain it. What participants walk away with - A reframe of performance that puts trust and psychological safety at the center - Behaviors and practices that sustain high performance without burning people out - Approaches for building resilience and connection as leadership essentials, not afterthoughts
Thriving Beyond Burnout: Reimagining Leadership Well-Being
Leaders are expected to bring energy, empathy, and endurance to their work every single day. Most do. What they rarely do is replenish what they give. This session invites leaders to rethink their relationship with wellbeing, not as a personal indulgence but as a professional responsibility. Through honest reflection and practical tools, participants learn how integrating wellness into their leadership creates stronger teams, healthier cultures, and the kind of sustainable success that does not come at a cost they cannot afford. What participants walk away with - The ability to recognize early signs of leadership fatigue before they become a crisis - A clear model for prioritizing wellbeing without compromising accountability or results - Sustainable habits and practices that protect performance, clarity, and longevity as a leader
