Pastor/Leadership Coach, Vonzel Sawyer, is no stranger to church
and community relations. He has spent over 30 years as a minister of the gospel.
For over 27 years, Vonzel Sawyer has helped church organizations
in the areas of leadership training, church growth, instituting quality programs, organizational setup, pastoral transitions, creating business case proposals, and managing projects.
Vonzel Sawyer offers a wide range of ministry experience – from serving as a teacher to an interim pastor, and as a church community liaison. In conjunction with establishing ministry,
Vonzel has spent 18 years as a Product/Project Manager in the telecom industry. After a successful career in telecommunications, Vonzel has endeavored to duplicate that success in ministry.
Vonzel Sawyer is a minister who helps teach building ministries in the community to churches and faith-based organizations.
Vonzel is President/CEO of Vonzel Sawyer Associates LLC, offering a leadership portfolio of services, featuring leadership coaching to startups and turnaround challenges; providing startup
organizational services for churches and non-profit businesses.
Vonzel currently serves as chairman of Render's Hope Community Development Corporation, Independence, MO. Vonzel formerly served as President and CEO of NBC Community
Development Corporation. Vonzel served on the board of Center for the Developmentally Disabled in Kansas City, MO. Vonzel also served on the board of the Wyandotte Health Foundation.

• Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Family Bible Institute in Colorado
• Ministerial Certification from Aenon Bible College
• Master of Project Management Certification from George Washington University in
Washington DC
• Certification Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt received from Johnson County Community
College Kansas
• Vonzel has completed 160 hours, pursuing an Associate Coaching Certification with the
International Coaching Federation
Vonzel is married to Jacqueline Cavitt-Sawyer, with five adult children, and eight grandchildren.
FUN FACT - In 2011 Vonzel starred a Christian comedy called "Three Blind Saints."
