I believe in the power of storytelling and experiential learning. I am fortunate to have spent time working in the nonprofit sector, higher education, and the social enterprise world. While each job has been different, the work has always had a common mission: Be a collaborator in trying to create a world that is more just, compassionate, and educated. I have been the keynote speaker at multiple conferences including the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference, The Catholic Association of Latino Leaders, and the Ignatian Solidarity Network Immersion Summit to name a few. I will also be speaking at TEDxLMU in 2018. I have written for America Magazine, The Huffington Post, and the National Catholic Reporter. Contact me if you want to explore any opportunities to partner on any projects. I can speak to a variety of topics, but my theme will always circle back to how we can improve ourselves and in doing so, improve our communities and the world around us.

Like you, motivation expert and business author, Stephen Jackson has seen the word Why defined numerous ways over the years. Is it inspiration and positive thinking? Vision boards and daily affirmations? Intuition? Universal purpose and meaning? Is it meant only for the chosen few who rise to the ethereal top? Or, is there a different story? With over a decade of coaching, speaking, and most importantly, real-life, in-the-trenches business experience, his view is radically different. Stephen appreciates, and shares with listeners, that a person’s WHY is a moment-to-moment awareness and not about what others call success, wealth or achievement. This WHY fundamentally impacts everyone, everyday—even if they don’t know what their deepest motivations are. Stephen, often praised for his ability to connect with and inspire a group, is a bit of a people whisperer in his coaching to bring out the best in people and segue resolution to embedded conflict. He is known for his practical, street-savvy approach and ginger charm; Stephen's fusion of real-life stories, humor and his conversational techniques connect with his audience at an intimate, intense and individual level. Stephen served as the co-founder for the Native Nations Celebrate Recovery launch in 2016, helping to establish over 50 new drug, alcohol and abuse rehab and support centers inside the Sovereign Nations. He is a Certified Brain Health Specialist with the Amen Clinics and continues to work with the best and brightest in the entrepreneurial and leadership field. The author of the soon to be released, “The Heart of the Entrepreneur: Dying to Win” Jackson’s heartfelt and penetrating conversations have been shared with people around the globe. Prior to his motivational efforts, Stephen, a business owner by necessity and passion, created and managed an award-winning insurance corporation that broke national sales and consistency records 7 years in a row. His most valued roles however are that of husband and father to his 3 ginger boys. For more info, check out gethopenow.net

I'll tell stories of redemption, like the time I had a knife at my throat or when I was almost mugged. I'll tell a fantastic and ridiculous tale about my failures and how I rebounded. Learn in one of my keynotes about the value of literature or the creative process. Maybe I'll mix in Bob Dylan or Edgar Allan Poe quotes. In one speech, I work in the value of pi. In another, I show you how to have an entire conversation in five words (your half of the conversation, that is). With three decades of writing speeches for the world's most influential people, I've got something to say. I cut through the nonsense. I say what needs to be said. I'll help you raise money, train your sales force, or entertain at an awards dinner. Commencement addresses, keynotes, fundraisers: I love them all. My clients, using my words, have raised millions of dollars. Let me do the same for you. Amsterdam, Taipei, Budapest, Mumbai, Dubai. Harvard. UCLA. Princeton. Amazon. Twitter. They've heard my speeches through my clients. My B.S. is in English, with an emphasis America literature. My graduate studies were in international communications. I bring both into the mix.
