I've spent my whole life doing one thing: making rooms feel something. It started on a stage in Marion, Ohio, the youngest cast member in the local theater's production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. My entertainment fire kept burning through Second City in Chicago, through Universal Studios, through twenty years of a show I built called Comedy You Can Dance To. I've opened for Jimmy Buffett and NSYNC. I've turned thousands of strangers into one electric room and watched them leave changed. And over my career, I have been in front of over 10 million people. Seriously, we ran the numbers. Here's what all of it taught me: nothing matters without the human element. Not the lights, not the tech, not the cleverest idea in the world. People remember how you made them feel and what they learned. Then I took that gift and turned it into transformation. For years after entertainment, I led experiential learning programs for Fortune 500 companies, facilitating for hundreds of thousands of people across ten countries. I took what I learned about holding a crowd's attention and turned it into a tool for real change inside organizations. That's where entertainment met structured learning, and where I found out I could move not just a room, but a whole company. Then I bet everything on technology, and it almost broke my core lesson in half. I founded High There, the first social network in the cannabis space. It was called the Tinder for Tokers by the media, I will send you the news clip if you ask. We hit 300,000 users in under eleven months, 1.4 million when I sold it, faster than Twitter's (X) first year. But the very tech meant to connect people was isolating them. I gave a TED talk about the human cost of over-customization, about a user facing cancer and loneliness while the apps in her pocket pulled her further from people. (I added that one on my profile.) Laughter and tears in the same room. That talk set the course for everything I do now. So, then I built HIVE, and I planted a flag: Amplify, Not Automate. Have you noticed that humans have lost passion, connection and real communication skills? I certainly have. My 131 presentations in 2025 said the same thing. Everyone in AI is selling replacement. Faster, cheaper, fewer humans. I'm selling the opposite. I help teams use AI to become more human, not less, and the results aren't hype. At the company I built, HIVE, we trained over 120,000 professionals with a 97% implementation success rate, where the industry average sits at 6%. Fortune 500s, the NBA, MLB, IndyCar teams, energy, healthcare, hospitality and even at MPI. I've stood in front of audiences in twelve countries and the reaction is always the same: they walk in afraid of AI and walk out dangerously excited to use it. Here's the part most speakers can't offer: I don't just talk, I transform with practical lessons, tools and wisdom. Real wisdom. The cost of raw knowledge is now basically ZERO thanks to AI, so you need wisdom. The kind of wisdom that moves people. A keynote lights the fire. But when you're ready to actually change how your people work, my team and I come in and build it with you. Hands-on AI enablement, human-skills development, the practical training that turns a one-hour spark into lasting capability. That's why our implementation rate is 97% and not 6%. We don't leave your team inspired and stranded. We leave them equipped. What you actually get when you book me: A keynote that feels like a performance, not a lecture. Twenty years of stagecraft aimed straight at your audience's attention. AI that's practical on Monday morning, not theoretical someday. Real tools, real adoption, the proof to back it. A team behind me ready to go deeper, from the mainstage keynote to full enterprise training and transformation. A relentless focus on your people. I make them feel irreplaceable, because in the age of the machine, the human edge is the only edge that lasts. Why I do this. My grandfather earned three Bronze Stars in WWII and never said a word about it. I think about him a lot, about the wisdom we lose when people disappear, about what's worth protecting as the world races forward. That's the heart of it for me. Technology should serve what makes us human, never the other way around. I get to stand on stages and remind people of exactly that. There's no better job on earth. Let's make your event the one people stay 30 minutes after to talk about. (That's a real quote, by the way. It happens a lot. See below a few more and I am happy to connect you.) More REAL quotes. We can connect you to them for conversation if needed. Some are high profile however, and the opportunity must match the level of the individual. What People Are Saying About Mitch "600+ delegates. Outstanding opening keynote. Energy, authenticity, and stage presence that set the tone for the entire event. Attendees called it inspiring, energizing, and a highlight of their Pharma Forum experience." — Lily Nagy, Conference Producer, Informa Connect / CBI "Mitch is an excellent speaker! The session I attended had people, including myself, staying more than 30 minutes after the session ended just to hear more from Mitch! His understanding of AI is powerful, and he presents it in a very interactive, approachable way. Very engaging and great energy on stage!" — Rachel Benedick, Chief Revenue Officer, MPI "Impressive." — John Ferrer, Walt Disney "Loved it!" — Charles Freeman, Orlando Magic "You brought a fresh perspective to a world in need of direction. As HR professionals, we're always shaping and delivering messages, and your insights provided valuable new tools. It was inspiring to see biases challenged, transparency rewarded, and meaningful connections formed." — Lindsay Powers, Accounts, IMA "Perfect timing. We just started playing around with it to craft communications to clients. I loved the comment about how using AI can improve our everyday communication with people. Thank you." — Dottie S., Hyatt Place Denver "This information is crucial. It allowed me to break out of a 10-year situation with my living situation and business. I'm so glad you exposed this group to AI in such a warm and approachable way!" — Anthem F., Anthem and Aria "I have never witnessed something this powerful. He used language PERFECTLY. It rocked the house." — Justin Tomlin, Pharma Forum "This partnership with Mitch is about more than technology. It's about equipping our organization with meaningful tools that support our commitment to future innovation and long-term growth." — Greg Feasel, President, Colorado Rockies "The information was incredibly helpful. I was honestly extremely tired coming into this and was engaged with all of the points that were brought. It brought awareness to the use of AI as a tool that can help us and not harm us." — Don S., Colorado Christian University "This was the most impressive and amazing AI presentation I have ever witnessed." — Eduardo Antonio, Sr. Sales Exec (West Coast), Team Leader, Visit Lauderdale "It was the best keynote I've heard on AI, because it was easy to digest, fun, engaging, and had an encouraging tone to it. It wasn't telling us how AI is going to replace us, it empowered us." — Caleb Paull, Better Talent "I have attended countless presentations on it. This was the best, most engaging and most informative one I have ever been a part of." — Leonard Hoops, CEO, Visit Indy

Hi, I’m Dessi! I’ve been through more adversity in my lifetime to carry me through several more. At 8 years old my mom died of pancreatic cancer, and my stepmom Janice raised me. At 15 years old, I was paralyzed with a near-fatal infection of endocarditis that came with a side order of brain seizures. At 18 years old I fell into a debilitating depression ending with a suicide attempt. After that point, my life felt numb and motionless with intensive therapy and antidepressants suffocating my ambition. In 2009, Janice met her future husband, Mike. He became an ally, a father, a best friend, and he taught me how to live life to the fullest. Using my past as fuel and my present as the engine, I soared to new levels of success. I became a firefighter, completed my Master’s in Toxicology, had a renewed vigor to learn and to do everything, and completely stopped taking antidepressants. In 2021, Mike died unexpectedly of a fentanyl overdose. His death made me determined to live more than ever. I became a board certified toxicologist and saved billion dollar programs, I became a successful entrepreneur, I became a published author, and I became sober. I became my most epic self. Today, I’m a motivational speaker on a mission to free others just as Mike freed me. I’m here to be an ally, to teach others how to use pain as power and turn vulnerability into victory. Let's dance.
