For over two decades, Jason McManus has been a pioneer and leader in large-scale entertainment and the design of award-winning visitor experiences worldwide. As a driving creative force behind some of the world’s biggest projects, his passion for innovation and storytelling has helped usher in a new era guest experiences within top theme parks, cruise ships, live shows, retail/branded experiences, and hospitality. As a Principal and Executive Creative Director at TAIT (formerly Thinkwell), Jason’s impact is global, standing at the leading edge of a worldwide movement that is harnessing technology, design, and storytelling in new and exciting ways. Having started his career as an artist and designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Jason formed a very early appreciation for the audiences who visit experiences, studying the keys that emotionally connect people to stories. Traversing the industry and putting those ideas into practice, he developed a deep intuition for the elements of design that make moments memorable. Over two decades later, those skills have paid off with an impressive track record of success and award-winning projects. In 2024 alone, he led the openings of the WWE Experience KSA in Riyadh, KSA, and CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular at Universal Studios Florida and was featured on the History Channel’s “How Disney Built America.” Jason is currently leading the vision for some of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious giga-projects and is a critical developer of TAIT technologies and techniques implemented for clients around the world. He also continues to teach Experience Design at his alma mater, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Jason McManus can be found speaking at corporate gatherings, conferences, and inspirational events, covering topics such as creative development, user and visitor engagement, the history of entertainment, and the psychology of creating human experiences.

It’s the heart of your social media, marketing, influencer and digital campaigns. My clients leverage the The Unicorn Principle in 5 ways... ▶ I help them generate consistent brand mentions among key customer audiences ▶ I help them find, vet and create compelling brand influencer relationships. ▶ I help organize their internal and consulting team members to be on the same page and powerfully working together to create a “Hell yes!” audience response to the product. ▶ I help them create badass content marketing. ▶ I build websites that engage and impress customers. When I was a kid my parents fought everyday. My Dad was unemployed and beat us regularly. This was a blessing, because I learned to fight back and stand up for my beliefs. When I turned 18 my parents kicked me out of the house. This was a blessing because I learned to be independent. Because I had to work three jobs to make ends meet, I started failing school. This was a blessing because I learned how to study and focus. I also I learned to manage my time and finances. I graduated with a Computer Science degree, and worked many years as a Cyber security engineer. Although I loved my job, I felt that something was missing. I was introduced to fine art photography and found a sense of completeness. I learned that art could help me experience a sense of magic and wellness. Because of that, I now want to share that same feeling and energy with the world through art photography. Since then I've been an art writer for international fine art magazine 'Beautiful Bizarre'. I've exhibited at the Beverly Hills Art Show. Finally, I've been teaching Fine Art Photography, Design and Photos at the Los Angeles Center of Photography.

I help organizations understand trust, a word we think we understand but we mostly haven't explored. My journey to trust began 25 years ago, when I realized I didn't like the word "consumer." Back then, during the Dot-Com era, I wrote Esther Dyson's influential tech newsletter, Release 1.0. Since then, I've advised and consulted to organizations large and small, from IBM, Target and the Wharton School to Blogger (now part of Google) and Suncorp. I also have the world's largest curated mind map, browsable for free at JerrysBrain.com.
