I didn’t plan to become a dog rehabilitation specialist. I have a history degree and a background in marketing, publishing, news, venture capital, and oil and gas — I built a career in communication and business development and never imagined this would be my path. But at the lowest point of my life, when I didn’t want to live anymore, I got Kenny. I loved him more than I loved myself, so I got out of bed to meet his needs — and in caring for him, I slowly started healing. As our relationship grew, I learned about my own nervous system, trauma, and regulation. I trained him, then other dogs, then dogs labeled “aggressive” and scheduled for euthanasia — and one day someone asked me what I charge, and I realized this wasn’t just survival, it was purpose. Today, Kenny is not only my service dog but my partner in rehabilitation, and the work I do giving people hope — helping them see change they thought was impossible — is the reason I live, because I know what it feels like to believe nothing could ever be different… and to discover that it can be.

I’m a trauma-informed therapist and developmental coach with over a decade of experience working in mental health and social services, and a deep curiosity about one thing: why people think, react, and behave the way they do. My work began with EMDR training and quickly evolved into a passion for understanding trauma not just as an event, but as something that lives in the nervous system and shapes how we move through everyday life. I’m fascinated by how our internal “alarm system” can sense danger even when none exists and how learning to rewire those patterns can completely change the way we experience ourselves and the world around us. Born in Eritrea and raised in South Dakota, I bring both cultural awareness and clinical insight into my work. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies in social work at the University of South Dakota and have spent the last decade working closely with individuals navigating stress, trauma, and major life transitions. I’m bilingual and deeply value connection across cultures and experiences, which shapes the way I engage with audiences and clients alike. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. I focus on nervous system awareness, cognitive reframing, and practical tools that help people understand their triggers, build awareness, and shift how they respond in real time. I believe people don’t just need information — they need experiences that help them see their patterns clearly and practice responding differently. My speaking style reflects that belief: interactive, energetic, honest, and often infused with humor. I like to keep people engaged, thinking, and participating because real change happens when we can see ourselves in the process. One of the principles I live and work by is simple: treat everyone like they’re the most important person you’ve ever met. That perspective guides how I speak, teach, and connect. Whether I’m speaking to professionals, students, or community groups, my goal is to help people understand how their thinking shapes their reality and to show them how to reframe, regulate, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

Mike Lee operates a bespoke Narrative Strategy practice for leaders, founders, experience-led organisations and meaning-driven brands across Europe. He currently helps organisations identify where clarity, belief, and emotional connection begin to fragment — and how to rebuild narratives people naturally align with and trust. This includes: Narrative strategy Meaning systems Positioning clarity Belief design Participation frameworks Strategic storytelling For two decades Mike worked inside the wine industry — growing it, producing it, building brands and building culture around it across three continents. Wine taught him something simple but brutal — people don't buy the best wine in the room. They buy the one that means something to them. When your story stops doing that job, you start losing ground you don't easily recover. He then spent years inside one of Europe's largest banking groups during their most critical moments of change — including a ten year transformation programme. He watched the same thing happen at scale. A bold vision. A leadership team performing alignment without achieving belief. Old priorities quietly winning. The vision fading from internal disbelief. Mike’s talks and workshops blend clarity, psychology, and creative precision. He speaks about the missing link between strategy and belief, the power of narrative design in shaping culture, and the ways stories make transformation stick. He is based in Europe and works internationally across leadership forums, communications networks, and transformation events — helping people reconnect the human story to the organisational mission.

Traveling Hermit. Author, Spiritual Guide, and Ordained OneSpirit Minister
United Kingdom

(1)
Lauren Gabrielle Foster is an author, spiritual guide, and ordained OneSpirit Minister who sold everything at fifty-eight and set out to wander the globe with purpose. Now sixty, she writes, teaches, and speaks from wherever she happens to be, drawing on decades of study and a life rebuilt entirely from the inside out. Her work sits at the intersection of spirituality, identity, and freedom. Not as theory. As lived practice. She spent ten years alone in the Appalachian mountains after walking away from corporate life, and has since traveled to more than seventeen countries, leading communities and teaching practices that help women find their own authority rather than following someone else's. She is the creator of Everyday Magic: The Sacred Ordinary, a Substack publication and membership community for women in the second half of life who are done with dogma but not done with depth. Her book, Happy and Free on Purpose, is a guide to mastering your own perspective and crafting a life entirely your way. Her talks draw on training in breathwork, interfaith ministry, ancestral healing, meditation, and nature-based practice. She holds additional certifications in meditation teaching, life mastery coaching, and ancestral health, but mostly she draws on what actually happened. The corporate years. The decade of solitude. The moment she sold her last possession and bought a plane ticket. What she found when she stopped performing a life and started creating one. She speaks to women who already sense they have been living someone else's story. Her job is not to convince them. It is to show them what true sovereignty feels like.

Conor Collins is an award-winning queer visual artist and speaker based in Manchester. Working primarily in portraiture, his practice explores LGBTQ+ identity, history and social justice, using art to challenge perceptions, preserve overlooked stories and inspire conversation. Choosing an unconventional path, Collins built his career largely through social media rather than traditional gallery representation. His work has since been exhibited in leading institutions including Pallant House Gallery and HOME Manchester, shortlisted for prestigious awards including the New Light Art Award, Celeste Art Prize, Shape Open and the Outside In National Art Prize. His work has also been unveiled in the House of Commons and commissioned by institutions including the University of Manchester. Collins first gained international recognition when his portrait of Tom Daley went viral in 2014, appearing in TIME, The Independent, BuzzFeed and numerous international publications. Subsequent portraits of Caitlyn Jenner and Donald Trump also achieved global attention, reaching millions of viewers and demonstrating the power of art to shape public conversation beyond the walls of galleries. Today, Collins' work is held in collections around the world, including those of Sir Ian McKellen, Stephen Fry, Giorgio Armani and numerous cultural leaders and public figures. His recent exhibition *To See and Be Seen* at HOME Manchester explored the legacy of Queer Up North, one of the UK's most influential LGBTQ+ arts festivals, further establishing his reputation for creating work that connects personal stories with wider social and cultural histories. Alongside his artistic practice, Collins is an accomplished public speaker, using his work as a platform to explore equality, representation and the role of art in creating social change. He has spoken to audiences ranging from parliamentarians and policymakers to cultural organisations, universities and business leaders, and has shared platforms with leading voices in contemporary culture, including writer and critic Hettie Judah. Whether exhibiting in galleries, speaking on stage or engaging audiences online, Collins' work demonstrates how contemporary portraiture can challenge assumptions, celebrate identity and create meaningful social impact.
