Bobby Henebry, CFA is an entrepreneur, investor, speaker, musician, facilitator, and passionate helper of people the world over! On the subject of speaking, Bobby has connected with audiences in over a dozen countries around the world on the subjects of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, networking and relationship capital, and reinventing yourself in the digital age as an entrepreneur. He loves helping others find their own way and seize their unique sense of purpose in life!
Bobby is the founder of Chord Savvy (2017), a YouTube music education platform, and HBCC (2016), an Ethereum mining operation that now focuses on speaking to business groups to educate them on blockchain and digital assets.
Separately, Mr. Henebry is also a partner in a small fund, DM Capital, which takes a private equity mindset and applies it to a concentrated portfolio of publicly-traded businesses. This fund does NOT invest in blockchain and crypto. It invests in traditional equities. Previously, Mr. Henebry was a partner at SeaBridge Investment Advisors, a money manager advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations globally. In his eleven years with the firm, he analyzed stocks for inclusion in global portfolios, advised clients on allocations, and monitored private equity and hedge fund positions for family office clients. He helped raise over $200M in assets for the firm.
Before joining SeaBridge, Mr. Henebry was employed at Georgia Tech’s Office of Technology Licensing, where he performed prior art searches on emerging technologies, which were then considered for patenting and eventually licensing agreements for use by a range of companies, including some technology startups. In addition, he was on a team of entrepreneurs that won the 2006 Georgia Tech Business Plan Competition, and he subsequently placed third in the nation at Rice University’s 2006 annual elevator pitch competition. He was also a member of Georgia Tech’s Venture Capital Investment Competition team while in business school.
Bobby has traveled extensively within the United States (45 states) and abroad (55 countries), and always brings his Martin Backpacker guitar with him to share music and connect meaningfully with people the world over!
