About
I have a passion for leadership development and building teams stemming from my years in athletics.
Building Teams
Teams are dysfunctional, whether we like to admit it or not. The quicker a leader realizes this fact the faster they can work to remedy the situation and transform their team into a successful, forward-facing, vision and purpose-driven, cohesive unit. In this session, we explore the major dysfunctions of a team by focusing on the individuals who comprise the whole, learn how to recognize when a team might be in trouble, and identify specific, tangible actions a leader and manager can take to build successful teams, whether those teams are already working together or are just being selected.
Productive Conflict
Workplace conflict is inevitable. Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps learners' self-awareness of conflict behaviors. Rather than focusing on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, learn effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict. Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict assists learners in curbing destructive behaviors to make conflict productive and, ultimately, improve workplace results and relationships. By increasing self-awareness around conflict behaviors, Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps learners effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict. With Productive Conflict, learners will: • Explore the destructive and productive conflict behaviors of each DiSC® style • Understand how to manage individuals' responses to conflict situations • Discover communication strategies for engaging in productive conflict with colleagues
